Today I turned in my thesis proposal to the Institutional Review Board. They will look over it to make sure my study is ethical to administer to human subjects, and in about two weeks I should be collecting data. I also heard Dr. Betsy McLane (the Project Director of the American Documentary Showcase) speak at HSU's Film Festival. She was really nice and gave advice on making documentaries, fair use, and copyright laws.
