This will be my home for the next 2 and a half months, as well as my first taste of domestic life in the Philippines. It is nice to finally got out our initial orientation at the IIRR compound and see more of the country. My new host family picked me up from the barangay hall (a neighborhood gathering point), gave me a room to stay in their house, and agreed to make me vegan meals. After a day of travel and excitement I'm definitely ready for a rest.
