Last night a friend of mine won two tickets to an outdoor locally written Play, called Pig Tree. It was really cold but also really fun. The actors did an amazing job.
The Arcata Play house described the play as "a new apocalyptic comedy written by Dell'Arte International faculty member James Peck. Set in a world where there has been no comeback from the economic downturn, Pig Tree is the absurd story of two servants who live in the ruins of their employers' mansion. These bumbling characters are trapped by their own inaction and complacency, waiting around for someone to save them. Someone shows up eventually, but they are nothing but trouble."
