Yesterday afternoon Humboldt County was hit with a 6.5 earthquake. The picture above is of a store that is a mile away from my apartment. I was grocery shopping at another store when the quake hit. Huge chunks of the ceiling fell, the lights went out, things flew off the shelves and shattered, very scary. My lights were out for over 5 hours and my house is now trashed (like everyone else in Humboldt), but everyone is okay! I am going to spent today picking up the pieces.
